This beautiful new carol was inspired by thoughts of the glory of the angels singing to the shepherds. I’ve always loved this part of the Nativity story, and relish the image of angels singing from overhead as they share the good news! What a night that must have been…
When creating the video, I enjoyed examining the paintings of so many artistic masters, and especially appreciated how each portrayed the infant Jesus in ways which were friendly and familiar to their way of thinking and the age in which they lived. This song celebrates the angelic presence at the time of the birth of the Lord of Love.
